BAC Tracker has been
validated in controlled drinking studies
to be effective in providing an accurate
extrapolation report within a 0.01gm%
deviation of the observed BAC.
Subjects were orally administered
various amounts of alcohol under strict
law enforcement supervision. Their
BrAC was recorded at certain times
throughout the study using an
Intoxilyzer® 5000. BAC Tracker
was able to generate multi-ingestion
extrapolation reports that accurately
calculated the BrAC for each subject.
The formulae utilized in BAC Tracker
is based on Widmark; Watson, et al.;
Forrest; Seidl; Ulrich, et al.; and a
modification introduced in May 2007 by
Posey-Mozayani.
